The Finance team is responsible for providing financial and commercial guidance and management across all aspects of the organisation
The Strategy team is responsible for ensuring that OES develops a clear, compelling and actionable strategy that delivers on agreed objectives. They are also responsible for progressing and coordinating longer term growth priorities such as new markets, products and innovations.
Centred around opportunity identification, the Growth Initiatives team works closely with university partners and determines the value of new courses, considers diversifying into new product areas and expanding into new markets. The team also focuses on improving the student experience and ultimately student retention, ensuring that OES educational products and services are aligned and provide the best possible environment to promote student success.
The Human Resources team is responsible for initiating, driving and advising on all things people related across OES. They consult with all employees across a range of areas, such as recruitment, remuneration, performance management, engagement and learning and development.
The OES Marketing team is divided into three key areas: Digital, PR and Advertising.
Working together, their focus is to manage, grow and optimise partner offerings through the development and implementation of strategic marketing assets, collateral, advertising, communications and public relations.
This team is responsible for student recruitment and tasked with supporting prospective students through their research journey. Their role requires them to identify quality students and guide appropriate prospects to enrol in a relevant partner courses. Student recruitment consultants (called Course Consultants) connect with prospective students via inbound and outbound phone calls, email and live chat.
There are three main areas of the Information Technology team: Operations and Support, Project Delivery and Application Development.
Operations and Support
The Operations and Support team is responsible for providing support for the technology used within the organisation, such as local devices through to the various cloud technologies OES utilise.
The Project Delivery team manages the implementation of projects as prioritised by the business, ensuring that scope, assets, timelines and resourcing are understood and delivered on time and to budget.
The Application Development team is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of new technologies across Learning Management Systems, our Data Warehouse, Student Portal and other technologies and platforms as required.
The Learning Design team is responsible for creating, developing and implementing innovative and effective online courses. The team works with a range of stakeholders including partner academics to create online learning programs that comply with agreed quality standards. This team measures success against highly engaged students who are achieving their learning outcomes.
The Academic team are responsible for designing the programs for our partnered universities, ensuring an excellent learning and teaching experience for our students. They work closely with the universities to ensure the programs are successful and achieve set learning objectives. The team also manages our online teaching staff, known as eLearning Advisors (eLAs) and Online Learning Advisors (OLAs) ensuring they have clear expectations and are supported and trained in best practice online facilitation.
The VET team is responsible for managing vocational students enrolled in a range of Diploma level programs. The team works with students from enrolment through to graduation, providing assistance and support and responding to queries and requests as well as providing feedback on assessments.
There are three main areas of the Student Services team; Enrolments, Exams and Placements. Our talented Student Services and Administration teams are experienced in providing specialised administrative support to our students across all administrative functions within the student lifecycle. End to end administrative support is provided across admissions, assessment and course mapping, study progression, placements, course completion guidelines and enrolment rules as well as exams.
The Student Support team is responsible for helping students navigate the various stages of study. They are trained to support students across a variety of different areas, from morning until evening, seven days a week. They deal with breadth of student lifecycle queries such as academic support, technical support, administrative and pastoral care. The team is also responsible for employing retention initiatives to re-engage withdrawn or disengaged students, as well as developing proactive retention campaigns.
