Exams Advisor

The role: 

The Exams Advisor is responsible for the administration and general support to students for all exams. The role will also be required to support the result and progress review process as required for all OES partners.

This position requires a high degree of initiative and self-management to deal with a range of support and tasks involved in the exam and result process.  The role requires a strong eye for detail and ensure the delivery of an exceptional student experience. This position ensures the examination process for OES’s online and distance exams is seamless and student focused.

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Supporting processes for the efficient and timely scheduling of distance mode examinations, verification of examination requirements and delivery of examinations.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with external examination venues and supervision providers.
  • Responding to all Student queries in relation to Exams via email, phone.

About you: 

  • Experience in an administrative role which required coordination of a range of functions and provision of advice about, and interpretation of, policies and procedures, within a tertiary education institution.
  • Able to thrive in a high-performing and values-based environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to the development of a culture that maximises employee and student engagement.
  • Demonstrated high-level computer literacy including the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • A broad knowledge of Higher Education and/or TAFE academic environments.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently, and to liaise effectively with students, staff and other stakeholders.
