Student Engagement Advisor

As part of the Student Success team, a Student Engagement Advisor can expect to have encouraging and genuine conversations aimed at supporting students who are disengaged with their studies. We are looking for passionate, proactive, empathetic and resourceful team members capable of facilitating a measurable difference in student retention and engagement. The role requires you to make outbound calls to students and past students who have withdrawn, so you must enjoy interacting and building rapport on the phone.

Shifts: Please note that shift time is 10am-6pm, this is an initial 12 month contract.

To be successful for this position, you must have:

• Minimum Bachelor level degree
• Experience in an outbound role within a call centre or telephone support setting is essential
• Experience working in retention or student support role
• A passion to maximise student engagement & experience
• Team player with “can do” attitude
• Excellent interpersonal & written communication skills
• Demonstrated high-level computer literacy
